Hello, i have several useless narco sitting in my team that keeps bringing back enchantment instead of anejo/raicilia, and id like an option to sacrifice them
Starting and then stopping
Taking off and landing
The emptiest of feelings
Disappointed people
Clinging onto bottles
Let down and hanging around
Crushed like a bug in the ground
Let down and hanging around...

I've only done this with Tactical plate armour (you can get far better options).
07:02:59 - The shop owner sells you x25 Tactical Plate Armour for a total of £28,125,000
07:03:37 - You scrapped Tactical Plate Armour (20.19%) (1) in the Research & Development building, earning x29 Street-Quality Enhancements, x6 Syndicate-Issued Enhancements, x2 Blacksite Enhancements
Using current Church values
29 x 87,558 = 2,539,182
6 x 259,437 = 1,556,622
2 x 2,150,452 = 4,300,904
x 25
£209,917,700 in one day for a cost of £28,125,000
Let's look at a weeks worth - £1,469,423,900 for a cost of £196,875,000
Month? £5,877,695,600 'donations' for a cost of £787,500,00.
This **** is broken. It's meant to be a cash sink not something to exploit.

The enchament breakdown value should go back to the previous fixed ratio system and the church value of enchantments should be fixed as well. That way you can have a donation value that is similar to purchase value and not 8-10x

I don't agree. Cash+item sink works. Best case increase the donation amount.
We created this by letting items inflate in price. This is a player driven market. We have attempted discussing solutions to help or fix the economy to no communal agreement.
Now we have a bunch of features to fast track everything. If we do a hard reset, people quit, we devalue things, people quit. We do anything to make things more reasonable for long term development people quit.
I agree, that the church donation gets out of hand but at this point we are on a razors edge searching for answers.
If I can generate 2b in church donations via enhancement materials that's what I will do and sorry kwyy, tpa is not the answer 😅
If we change the church donations to be npc buyback price it won't fix how I am doing this. Problem lies with the current net worth calculations and the only true fix would be to go back to how it was.
We can't sell the enhancements for straight cash to any vendor and it should remain that way.
That being said before anything major happens, give me a day to scrap the 1k items I have in storage first 😭

Mg34 gives 12x return in church value by scraping. Current system is broken and being exploited

Well aware TPA is not the answer, I picked it deliberately to show how ridiculous the system is even when using something 'inefficient'.

A couple of options that are coming to mind to me to address this so far. Throwing these to get feedback.
Repriced items
Cash and items both stay. Shop-bought items would be credited at what the town shop actually charges, not the inflated market price, so buying from a shop and donating is no longer a profit. Enhancement mats would be priced so scrapping a shop weapon or armour and donating the mats is worth about the same as donating the item itself — scrap stays for R&D, not for printing church credit. Item donations would then count at 80% of that fair value, while cash stays 1:1, so cash is slightly more efficient but leftover loot and mats are still worth dumping.
Mix rule
Cash and items both stay, but a fundraiser cannot be finished with items alone. At least half the goal(maybe more, maybe less?) must come from cash; items can fill the rest. You can still dump loot and mats, but one scrap loop cannot solo a boost.
Per-player item cap
Cash and items both stay, but each player can only put a limited amount of item credit into a given fundraiser (around 10–15% of the goal). Cash has no extra cap. Items remain a sink; one person cannot fill the bar with mats.
