CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS
The cost of building materials is just too high for the common citizen to purchase. The price given for construction materials is a massive reason why renting a property is so high. Ladies and gentlemen, the price of a nail is 1.9 lager than the price of bricks. Though that this is just a way for the rich to earn money it is a way for the poor to quit the game. Once past level 3 people decide to give up on this game. I started a few days back. I gambled sooo much just to get above ten million. Imagine a level one player who chooses to go rogue he will just end up being caught up in the financial issues. The simple solution to this is just to buy all the products, put a bounty on the money tyrants resell them for a smaller price so that to community of the game will be able to afford it. If this is a huge issue we can simply negotiate with the tyrants and get them to lower the price for them to still make profit
Drugs and alcohol
The price for simple boosts like alcohol is simply bad. The price is a wee reasonable but not for the common citizen. I placed a consent to buy weed but I received news that was simply unpleasant. I thought of the price the npc gave for it was the same price on the market but it wasn’t. This is just criminal because the price of tequila is x3 of what the npc sells. I recommend to simply doubling the price so the tyrants can make money and the common player doesn’t go broke

You shouldnt even be worrying about PE this early in the game, Nails were already expensive, nails were 5x expensive as brick a few months ago. you should rent a PE or first build a TOWN HOUSE. You are expecting to FAST TRACK everything in this game when you have to do things in a span of a couple of months. THE ALCOHOL was also already bad, not many people produce much of it and when they do, they drink it themselves ESPECIALLY Raicillia and Anejo.

Anyone with p10 paste robberies can make 500-700+ paste a day and with the addition of production prestige we can now use less of those resources to get more rewards therefore creating more and more supply with less demand. Maybe to deal with that we can add those are items we can add to the submarine to help peck away at the hoards of resources."
I disagree with this heavily, the price of supply have exploded this year, when I started less than a year ago and tried to sell as high as I could, I'd sell fertilizer for 30k, coca paste for 50k and agave hearts for 90k, and it would usually take 1 or more days to sell. Whereas any of them could easily be above 100k and it could be considered cheap by some today.
I don't see an "ever growing supply", I see a supply lacking so much behind that the prices makes it a loss to actually run some productions, even while submarines have raised the usefulness of cannabis and cocaine
Construction materials are probably the lowest supply and moderate demand. Repairing the submarine gave extra use for them, but outside of building houses we don't have much else for them. I introduce to you cartel fortresses. Huge material costs for added benefits. Bonuses and multipliers for wars and bounties, they can take damage when under siege as well as needing routine upkeep. You can build a fortress in each territory you own to give the defenders a slight competitive edge. Defender bonus, giving better chances at success of defends, infirmary reducing hospital time at the cost of medical supplies in the armory example if you get hospitalized for an hour a Maxed infirmary reduces your hospital time up to 50% to get your fighters back on the wall sooner.

This is likely to be poorly received but I think this is the only solution. This needs to be done very carefully as to not make people quit, but we also need to make this market attractive to new players so we can retain and grow as a player base.
First, any and all new items must be added to the game before my final suggestion, new drugs, weed like items, construction materials etc. Any suggestions we all agree should be added should be in for this last part because it would make for more incentive for people to loosen their grips on their hoards and trade for these new items.
Second what I will get the most hate for but is the only Hail Mary I can think of that will actually save this economy and not scare people away from even trying the game... a one time global event. New Government/Regime Change in LaPaz. With this new change in leadership comes a new currency. You can still keep all your original LaPaz Currency or trade it in for the new Government standard at 100:1. For every £100 you get $1. This would be the only currency accepted at NPC shops and usable on the market. Original LaPaz currency is now worthless.
This game is experiencing something similar to real world countries who continue to print more money and we are losing value in our actual currency. Inflation happens similarly to this exact scenario and we don't currently have the population to support new players with the current amount of currency we have in circulation.
All players would keep their current inventories and stats, this is not a hard reset but a soft one for economic relief only. I too would lose billions but if it means more players are willing to stick around I'm more than willing to lose a couple zeros on my networth and for the health of the game I'd hope you are too.
Now with the introduction of new items players are incentivised to barter their hoards for new items while still being able to capitalize having considerably more new currency than others.
In turn mission cash payouts would have to be cut hard, as well as production, jobs and other things. If every player is getting tens of millions every day/week/month we will very quickly encounter this problem again and it is my suspicion that since missions have been implemented players have multiple accounts to get huge cash payouts every month with minimal contribution, therefore implementation of a minimum contribution to those global missions should be a priority to help dissuade people from foul play.
This is a lot to chew on so before you smash the thumbs down please consider what the future of this game could be. We need to attract players to stay, not quit because the basics cost hundreds of millions to achieve even the most basic of tasks.
Edit* players would not lose their current currency, but they can't use it at npc stores, casino, player market or to buy other things in game. It would be for private trade only. New players can obtain new currency through trades but all cash rewards are in the new currency and significantly less than previous payouts. This is the ultimate money sink. There would be a currency exchange at a rate of 100:1 for old to new.

I think territories need re worked. Need a reason to actually fight for them. Lots of end game players are hoarding items and need to give them a reason to spend or use these items. I feel theres nothing for end gamers to spend their money on, so they hoard items they dont need and raise the cost of everything. Better perks, rackets on territories. I also dont think having the perks move randomly has been good. Spend a few days and lots of energy to steal a TT with a good perk just for it to move on you a day or 2 later. Ive been here for over a year and i think ive seen one TT war and it was brutal with the execution. Give the end users something to spend their money on and they will start to dump their hoards of items, lowering the prices in market. Just my 2 cents

One of the reasons I love this game so much is precisely that no item has an expiration date or durability limit, and I personally hope that doesn't change. Finding solutions to stabilize the market seems great to me, but adding expiration dates to products doesn't seem like a good solution.
I think this is the first time I've disagreed with a proposal from Vaelinn. I think they're doing a great job with the game, but I hope they find other ways to stabilize the market without adding expiration dates. Only my opinión.
We should do MINIMUM PARTICIPATION when CLAIMING "GLOBAL REWARDS" by doing so we remove incentivising players who doesnt do anything.
also by doing this there would have less money and do more robbery jobs thus giving the market more traffic hence lowering of prices.
