If there becomes a vendor then it should be for a token price - there's more than enough ways to make money and turning buying 25+ items a day to then scrap and sell should not become a daily activity.

Not profit not loss rather than profit or loss

It would be an extra money source, and we already have inflation issues. Some use would be nice though besides church, like maybe getting new weapon rolls out of it? It would just need to be calibrated carefully so you can't print infinite money :))
