Hello Narcos!

I would like to announce that I am planning a community-wide meme contest for October 18–22.

All that will be required to enter is at least 1 but no more than 3 memes made or altered by you, and an entry fee.

The entry fee will be £5,000,000 for players over 50 days age in game. Anyone under 50 days can enter the contest for £1,000,000 — in the true CE spirit, we like to help the newbs out.

The contest will be held October 18–22, to avoid any personal interruptions to Torn's Halloweek event.

Rules:

1. No sexual or explicitly violent content.
2. Memes that are CE related should follow the normal guidelines of the rules and reflect the respectful environment of Cartel Empire. If you make memes specifically about a player/group/cartel, please do not be overly offensive or foul. Let's have fun, but not at the cost of others.
3. A total of 3 memes are allowed per contestant. All 3 entries must be made on the appropriate forum post as ONE SINGLE POST or they will not be counted.
4. DO NOT PUT YOUR MEME ENTRY ON THIS FORUM POST. A new post will be made for the actual contest when it begins.
5. The winners will be judged based solely on forum respect in the forum voting system currently in place. This is the easiest way to ensure fair judging and voting on behalf of the community.
6. Moderators will be closely monitoring the posts for any violation of the rules of the contest or Cartel Empire's rules. The contest has no official affiliation with Cartel Empire or Diablo himself. DO NOT message Diablo about any issues relating to this meme contest. If you need to discuss anything or have any questions, my inbox is always open and I’ll answer you as soon as I can.
7. There will be 3 winners selected (barring any ties). A payout structure will be announced based on the total prize pool, and it will be divided equally among the top 3 karma holders (again, barring ties).
8. In the event of a tie for 3rd place, that portion of the rewards will be split. If anything unforeseen happens, the moderators and I will decide on the fairest resolution.
9. Do not attempt to influence votes, pay for votes, or trade votes for favors. Any evidence of vote manipulation will result in an immediate ban from the contest. Let’s keep this a fair and fun community event.
10. To enter the contest, simply send me the cash with the message "contest entry". I will try to send a DM confirmation, but please bear with me. This post will be edited later with the list of contestants and names so you can self-verify.

I will not be competing in the contest, I will not be eligible for rewards — but I reserve the right post some memes just for fun! I want to stay impartial to the contest for fairness. Honestly, organizing something fun for the community is reward enough.
