Deal with Diablo — coming to the Church

When a church fundraiser completes and a global boost is scheduled, Diablo may come knocking.

The holy boost still lands for everyone as usual. On top of that, a handful of donors can be offered a personal Deal with Diablo — a private gamble that can push your own boost further… or twist it into something darker.

What’s new

• ~90 unique outcomes spanning all church boost types — rewards, curses, and a few surprises in between.
• Three risk levels when you accept: Dip Your Toes In, Cut a Confident Deal, or Challenge Diablo. Higher risk means bigger upside… and nastier downside.
• You can always walk away. Declining (or letting the offer expire) costs nothing — you still get the normal global boost.

Who gets an offer?

Offers are rolled when the fundraiser hits its goal (boost scheduled), not when the boost goes live:

• #1 donor — always offered (100%)
• #2 donor — 75% chance
• #3 donor — 50% chance
• One random non–top-3 donor who gave more than £10M — 25% chance

If you’re eligible, you’ll get a Church event and a modal on your next page load. The offer stays open until the boost starts; after that it expires with no fee.

Accepting a deal

• There is a flat cash fee to seal the deal (£80M for your first active deal; stacking deals cost more).
• Paid only if you accept — walking away is free.
• Your outcome is rolled privately. The news ticker may say someone made a Deal with Diablo, but it will not spoil what they got.
• One deal per boost for you — no re-rolls.

What we’re not spoiling

We’re keeping the outcome list under wraps on purpose. Part of the fun is not knowing whether Diablo smiled… or collected.
